Seminar under title: “Economic growth and distance to the frontier” was given by Fabrizio Zilibotti (University of Zurich) on 16th of April 2015 at the Center for Liberal-Democratic Studies, Belgrade. About 25 leading Serbian economist and some Ph.D. students attended the seminar. Introductory remarks of Fabrizio Zilibotti provided a comprehensive review of the contributions to the cutting edge economic growth theory, including issues of differential effects of barriers to entry, selection of entrepreneurs and business endeavours, human capital and technological progress.
