Project Summary:
The book in front of the reader represents an attempt by the CLDS
team to show, in an unbiased way, where Serbia is in terms of economic
and social situation, what the risks are and how could be proceeded with
reforms. Therefore, short texts present and analyze the process of institutional
reforms in Serbia, economic and social policies and their achievements,
current problems and some proposals for remedying them.
It is our strong belief that difficulties can be overcome and that faster
economic and social development is possible. It remains to be seen
whether that will be accomplished.
